Cheap Tube doors

Well i wanted tube doors, and figured i could make some cheap ones that dont look too much like ass.

Took the doors off and notched to make doors easier to take off and put back on.

Very nice

Picked up some steel at the scrap yard today.

Making mounting plates.

Pretty much overall what they will be like.

So far I have $25 into them.

Pretty much done, just need welding. I also picked up the bolts for everything today.

Looks sweet! And I love the color scheme of green/yellow rims. Very unique

The tube has a trailer shackle welded to it and when welding the main tube to the base I made sure to have pressure on the latch and use the bolt to hold it shut.

I got some cheap trailer pins as "locks" now. Also picked up some cheap boat speakers for tunes and utv mirrors.

dude, those are killer. makes me wonder why all the other tube doors i see are so complicated; all they're for is to keep you from falling out!
