Center Caps
So I'm about to buy a new set of center caps for my rig, since mine are all scuffed up and scratched. They look like crap. Is there anything that can be sprayed on the new set to keep them from chipping and delaminating? I'd like to keep them in good shape, those pieces of plastic aren't cheap

I did a light sanding on mine, sprayed several coats of silver, filled in the "T" with Testors model paint than sprayed 5 coats of clear over everything. I expect it to hold up for a few years.

Yeah! No need to buy new!
Get some paint thinner and take off the old...let dry...prime them and find a decent plastics paint and give'em a few layers...then clear coat'em and your set. Maybe 10-15 bucks in materials, forget 60!!!

I'll give it a shot. Is there a specific color of paint that matches our wheels? I think I'll try painting the toyota emblems black, I think it would look the best on my rig

That was the one problem I ran into was color matching, I ended up just painting the whole thing solid black. I think the result looked great but I have a black truck so yeah know....

Ya I have a black truck too, but I don't think I'd like them black, I'm gonna go to autozone, see if I can find something that matches
