Yeah, I'm a noob still. Tire question

I feel like such an assclown for asking this. Believe me, I searched and not just here.

We got a 98 2wd 4runner. Want to put on some tires. I have some bfg Trail 31x10.50's will these fit without rubbing?

If lift is needed, how much for 31's?

What gearing does a 2.7 have?

Yeah, I know.....dumb questions.

You should be able to clear 31's at stock height. You might have a tiny bit of rubbing if equipped with running boards.

** edit**
I think all 4cyl's came w/ 4.10's.

Hey at least you're asking a question, rather than assuming (which others do more often than not.)

265/70/16 is the equiv to a 31x10.50. Therefore you should be okay. I had a '99 2wd w/ the 70s on there and it was fine.

My '98 4wd's stock size was 265/70/16, which, as stated, is 31x10.5. I'd say it shouldn't rub at all.

31's?

My uncle put 33's on his 4-runner at stock height. Not if your gonna go wheeling but 31's or even 32X1150's would fit fine. word, they all came with 4.10's
