ok, yes i did search, and NO there is no info besides the list of codes that comes up.

here is what the codes list says:

P1153 Bank 2 Fuel Control Shifted Lean
P1153 A./F Sensor Circuit Response Malfunction

this code came up after my transmission was put back in.

any theories?

 

That's a very odd code because there is no bank 2 on your 4runner (hence no info when you searched YT).
Did you pull the negative battery terminal after you installed the tranny?
If not, try it and then see if the code returns.

turned out to coincide with 1135 which is an 02 censor most likely.

all is well again in my runner.. she drives like a dream. i now realize just how bad my old transmission was
