CB radio round-up

CB radios are quite often the hot topic here as users add them to their rigs throughout the year.

We have many posts here on the subject, and I got to thinking today that a Round-Up would be nice showing some of the installs on how they look for a particular vehicle/year.

Threw this page together just now, and if anyone would like to submit theirs, please follow the submission rules on the above page.

It would be nice to have several installations in one place showing how they were done.

That's a great idea, Corey. It'd be neat to see what some folks run for those of us who even already have one. Something like that would've been helpful for me when I was brainstorming.

Also, I think that for anyone who submits for this, they should include all parts (antenna, cable, spring, quick disco, etc.) they purchased for the install so that someone new can look at the list and start shopping. The radio unit itself is only half of the equation.

Yes, you just email them to me.
I'll look at your tomorrow, but I would prefer a 800x600.
All the pics in the Tech section are 640x480, but I though for these we'd go a bit bigger to show more detail.

Darren, that's a good idea on the other stuff too.
I will probably add my disco to it, and also the mount for the ARB.

I will admit something here.
I was trying to take a 3 hour nap before work today, but my brain would not shut down to sleep, and the idea for the page started running through my head after seeing all these CB posts as of late.

Got out of bed and started putting the page together

Kevy, your link to the album is wrong.
You gave us your log in link, and we can't view it.

I'll send mine in, too, when I get it all finished.

Also Corey-- I did your auxiliary fuse block install on my 2nd gen pickup. I found a great place for it in the interior. I can send pics and a writeup on that, too when I'm done with everything if you're interested. Gotta spread some love to the pickup guys!

Sounds good guy's, looking forward to the pics.

Brown, that would be great on the fusebox as well.
I really like mine, it's the way to go when you need to add stuff.

Thank-you,

I have been putting some serious cash into it, and I am half done. lol

Its now 1-1/2 years old, has 50,000 + miles on it and still runs like its new.
