Yep, check out Jim's CB install here.

Very good radio, and we got to give it a good test August 6th in the mountains, and it performed very well.

Yeah, Uniden is a very good brand. I have their scanner in my 4Runner and love it. They are known for them and their CBs. You will be happy with anything as long as Uniden is on it! Goodluck! :fireman:

Jim's CB pics should be working now in that thread I posted.
The server they are on was down for awhile, but now up.
If I was going to put in a new CB, it would be in the exact same place as his.
I was going to say if you had the hoops on your bumper like I do, then put the antenna on it like mine.
Not sure if you could still mount one there or not on your bumper.
You might be able to with a stud mount, as long as the antenna did not whip into your grille/hood.
You could go for a fender mount like I use to run.
For the best overall reception, an antenna drilled into the top of the roof like Jim's would be nice.
It won't leak if a pro shop sets it up for you, and you can unscrew the antenna like Jim does for getting into the garage.
However if you are going to encounter lots of overhead limbs & stuff, that may not be the logical choice.
I really like mine up front.

I would say any cb/trucker shop. I've had it for about 5+ years, and also had it in my cherokee. You will need a swr meter to adjust it.
This is what I have:
