yeah it sucked... my truck wouldnt move under its own power, i almost rolled down the hill...... what i ended up doing was getting out of the truck, cranking the wheel and slowy started pushing it forward until it turned enough to start rolling down the hill...... it was pretty scary... if i had rolled, would have been multiple times, and it was algled to the drivers side... so thats why i got out, without me in it, thats 250 pounds less it has to deal with on that side since it already wanted to roll that way.....

there's things you can do to help this, like venting the carb to a catch can, and turning down the fuel pressure.

an HAC is a high altitude compensator. basically bleeds air into the carb to lean out the mix at high altitudes

i know there are little thigns you can do to help, but the basic physic laws dictate that even with help, a trucks carb isnt oging to run on its side.....

A good, non screwed with Toyota or Suzuki carb (both built by aisin), will run on its side no problem. Only reason to shut it down is because you start to loose oil pressure.
