buying wrecked 4runner

I came along a wrecked 1999 4runner with 4wd, auto. the guy is taking the motor out and he wants 1 grand for it. Would this still be profitable to part out on the forums?

depends on what parts it has, and what color it is. Typically, the oak interior does much better than the blue/gray

I just did the same thing, and im keeping the engine/tranny out of my 99 4runner. Needless to say, i esentially have a free engine and trans.

Profit? not really, for the time and effort it has taken. But, it worked well for me since I was really after the engine and tranny.

the grille on its gone, the guy who bought it was purely for the motor. however i the interior is oak.

i still feel 1 grand is still too much maybe i can lowball him LOL. soo guys what price u think is a good target price to snatch it.

His original set price was 1600, he actually bought it for 1600 from an insurance auction. But since he took the engine out maybe i can convince him to lowball him more = ).

worse comes to worse im going to
