High angle CV boots for 2nd gen runner

Off road solutions of one of several companies that carries high angle CV boots .. http://www.offroadsolutions.com/96-02_4runner.html

I've known several guys that run these with lifts over 3" and never had a problem.

I have read that some people use the boot from a porche 930, the boots are made by offroad-engineering, and are tapered and flexible. The application that they use them for is the 95.5-02 years and I'm wondering if anyone has used them on a 2nd gen? any other high angle CV boot sugestions for a 94 runner would be great. I have a 94 sr5 with a 2" suspension lift

I've replaced both axles since then and have yet to see any signs of wear and tear. Been roughly 4 months. I don't think you should have to be going through boots/axles every year unless you're doing offroad more than on road. But with that angle I can see why you are.

For reference, here is mine before the dif drop..
Do you have a picture of the angle after the diff drop? Just ordered the OME 3 inch lift and after being assured the brake lines and steering shaft wouldn't need adjustment, I'm now worried I'll need to do CV joint upgrades

Only one real CV joint upgrade.

You just need a diff drop.

You NEED manual hubs if you don't like replacing cv axles every year or so
