doesnt matter radial or bias, that has nothing to do with the directional tread of a tire or it being asymetrical meaning its non directional, but depending on where its mounted there is a marked inside/outside of the tire.....

but yes, the bfg mt and at are non directional so white or black is fine... however some of the private label bfg tires, like the ones that come oem on some chevy's or some of hte ones walmart sells are asymetrical, and the only choice you have is to mount them white out, otherwise the tread is backwards...
