Go to a tint shop or a sign company and ask them for transparent black vinyl. The fininshed product looks much baetter, almost factory.

I might try that, if there's a place around here that'll do it.

Get the vinyl! I had it on my Legacy and it looked great! And it comes off later if you want. The vinyl's more transparent too, so you still have functional back up lights.

GTS is the company that makes those for about every vehicle. I had a set of headlight covers on my old Camero but they got aggrivating because I had to take them on and off to drive at night. The brake light covers would be even worse as far as seeing them at night. You'll get hassled with for sure.

Try the Vinyl, it's cheap to buy a sheet of it and lay & cut it yourself, and if you dont like it, take it off.

You should check into local laws about it though too. I never had any problems in Denver.

Who the hell knows. Some people just have incredibly poor taste. I rather cover my truck in used tampons than put half of the trendy garbage some people have on theirs...

It would be nice to rear end a tard that has blacked out tails, though. Considering they're 50-state ILLEGAL, you would certainly end up with a nice settlement...

They are legal here in Tennessee, see them on cars all the time. Haven't ordered them yet, I was thinking about it. I really want to put the stocks back on, but I can't because I don't have the wiring harness for them.. dang.
