ToyotaPerformance.com sells a Black Magic Electric fan to replace the belt driven one. Will this mount right up to my radiator and replace the fan and shrowding. I don't have any overheating problems, but I don't like how the fan is run off the engine. Is it worth the money? Any better suggestions for other electric fans? How loud is it? Thanks.

 

I ran this on my old Mazda B2200. Yes, it was loud, but it did free up some parasitic drag (HP) on the engine. In your other thread, I recommend this mod to you.

 

its loud like an electric fan....... its fine if you have the money to spend on it..... otherwise the clutch driven stock fan is actually a very good unit... and for the cost of admission, there really isnt a need to change it... it might steal a couple hp, but really, that couple hp isnt a big deal.....
