Bilsteins/Downey coils
Finally installed new Bilsteins and Downey Coils. I originaly had Monroe Sensa Traks ...If you are looking for that caddy ride,go for the Monroe....they have a smooth ride.....The Bilsteins feel very firm..you can now hear and feal the bumps in the road. The ride is alot more stable and feels like a truck should be....the stance with the coils look outstanding....what a great combination. I will post pics soon.....thanks for the great advise....

I'm about 90 minutes from that Plant. I use to work for Boeing...
Got laid off Jan. 25th.
I'll be back later when it picks up, and I hope it's not Everett
To far of a commute at 13 MPG.
I was stationed at the Renton plant before.
Maybe we can hook up some other place?
Thanks for the comps on my beast.

Better yet, pull off the parts, ship em up here, I'll install and test them and then post my review, yeah that's the ticket!

Yes pictures please. I'll complete the run on this mod. too, I'm looking at the Downey coils for mine as well, I would love to see how the stance of this set-up would look. Downey 2.5" rear lift right?

This too is going to be my next mod. Been wanting to do it for a while but $$ been short. Can't wait to see how it changes the stance. Did you have to crank the T-bars to get the front to match the back???

Toyota OEM filter is outstanding, K&N filter was a waste of money....did not increase HP at all...the only thing it did was let more dirt in the intake...do not spend your money on that.....I will have pics tomorrow.....and no I did not have to crank torsion bars....the truck is lvl now and I am very happy with the Bilstein/Downey set up....sorry no picture yet....forgot about it today.....spent to much time sittin in the lawn chair drinkin beer lookin at my truck....hahaha.....later

I too use to use a K&N when I first got the rig.
But after reading Gadget's posts, and seeing what the K&N looks like next to a light, I went back to the OEM paper one.
You can see light through the K&N, and that is letting in dirt.
Here is a good test. It's not with the K&N, but with the Amsoil, TRD (like the K&N) and the Toyota OME one.
