Hello all:

Im about to embark on the install of a used 2nd gen Supercharger on my 2000 SR5 and would like any advise on things I should look for and any tips. One thing is....I have 2 sets of TRD instructions. One says to install a 1/8" fitting with "barb" on the back for vacuum line and the other set of instructions doesn't mention it. Do I need this?? Also, if anyone has any good install or completion pics if they could send them on to me. The pics that are in the TRD install manual are not the greatest. Also, about how long to install?? Im very mechanically inclined and have done everything else to my ride by myself so I know I can do this install but would like an idea of install time.

Where did you get the supercharger at? I did not know that they made a supercharger for a 2nd gen. That is cool? What did you pay for it also? :fireman:

 

He doesn't mean a supercharger for a 2nd Gen. 4Runner, but rather a 2nd generation supercharger for a 3rd Gen. 4Runner. There have been 2 generations of TRD superchargers for the 3rd Gen. 4Runner.
