Just trying to be sure here, but are the Bilstein shocks offered by http://www.scionpartsusa.com the real deal Heavy Duty Bilstein units, or are they the "TRD Bilstein" shocks? I'm under the impression that the TRD units aren't as good as the Heavy Duty's. The price sure is nice

I actually got the same shocks from them. They are NOT the TRD bilsteins, it looks like they are b/c of the advertisement. They are the regular HDs. They are a bit stiffer i believe. I think they run perfect.

They might be the same. My company sells our customers the very same Bilsteins they can buy over the counter, but for half the price. How? Warranty. The Bilsteins have a lifetime at the retail price, but we get a price break and only get a 2 year warranty.

 

Do you know which model Bilsteins go on my '88 4Runner front and back. If so, can your co. get them for me w/ the 2-yr warranty?
