Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Tundra/4runner
I just ordered the Tundra 5100 adj for the front of my 4runner (because that what most ppl say will ride best)
My question is: since they have 5 adj points, from stock height to 2" lift (1/2" increments it seems), will I get accurate lift levels since they are made for the Tundra. Meaning, if I set it for 1" lift, it should be 1" lift for the Tundra, but will it be 1" for the 4runner? Not sure if the shock bodies and adj points are the same.....hope this makes sense to you guys.
Keep in mind, I am looking for approx 2" over a stock 4runner, I already have the 99 tall coils in the front, so I figure I should set the 5100 to the 1" lift to achieve this since the tall coils are approx 1" over regular stock?!
My plan for the rear is the 906 coils which should give me 2" over stock....should work out pretty good if my calculations are correct!! I am hesitant to do the full 3" lift in the rear cause I don't wanna mess with the panhard/sway/ride quality overall!! I will also put the diff drop in just to be safe...I will also switch to 265/75 vs. 265/70.....Also hesitant to make the move to 285's.......Thanks for any input!!!
