well if i ever get my truck running right what is the largest tires i can put on it without messing w/ lifts and gear ratios. right now there are 31 x 10.5's

can i go any bigger? 32 x 12.5's maybe?

 

I have the 2" Downey coils in the rear and have 31s as well. Supposedly, I could go up to 32s but looking at the truck, it would be a tight squeeze if they fit at all without rubbing.

 

If you turn the tortion bar up you can fit a 32x11.5x15 on a 7 inch wheel or a 32x9.5x15 TSL swamper on an 8 inch wheel. I personaly run 35x12.5x15 on an 8 inch wheel on my 90 4runner. 3 inch body and 2 inch coil in rear and torsion bars turned up half inch or so. NO RUBBING EVEN WHEN OFFROADING

 

Should be able to go up to 32X11.5 's at least. That's what I have with no torsion bar crank and pp rear coils. Only slight rubbing in rare situations.

 

I'm running 31x10.5 at the moment, but am heading for 32X11.5 next. Soon as you hit 33, you need some lift and it's best to pop in 4.88 gears aswell. Too much work for an inch.

 

I rub at extreme situations with my BFS A/T 31's.

How about 265s?
