Bigger tires = more time in boost?
I was driving my truck today for the second time I had my Revos put on. I noticed that with the 75 series (up from 70) it seems as if I am in boost faster and longer. Does that make sense or am I a lil crazy? It seems right to me in the fact that they are heavier and are larger so the engine will have to work a little extra to move them (hence lower MPG). Any truth to this, or am I just crazy?

its a supercahrger, jsut having the car on provides the supercharger to work... there is no boost that comes and goes liek a turbo setup.....
the engine will have to work a little harder to move them, but it seems like such a negligible difference if all you did was go up 5% of the aspect ratio

I was going off the boost gauge. Even though it may not show correct boost pressure, it gives a reference point. It seems like it goes into boost a lot faster and stays in boost longer.

okay bigger tires need more power= press pedal more from dead stop RPM goes up more boost goes up more; same thing for the duration....you need the extra power for the bigger tires and the S/C is providing it...
