Question Better Ride?

How can I get a better ride out of my '02 4Runner? It's an SR5 4X4. I haven't had it off road (at least not yet) and it has 30,000 miles on it. Is there something I can do to firm up the ride both on the highway and also during cornering? I've got the stock tires and wheels on it currently (15 inch wheels, 225/75 inch tires). What can I do and in what order should I do it in?

Get some new bilstein shocks as a minimum. You can also change out the springs and shocks with Old Man Emu. If you do the latter, you'll need some larger tires, and preferrably some 16" wheels. Do a search and you'll find several days worth of material on lift and tire/wheel options. Search for coil springs, lift springs, shocks, sway bars, tires, wheels, etc.

Some addco sway bars will help in the cornering.
Ths bilstein shocks are also very firm on the handling.
OME shocks and springs are more for offroad and will make it ride much higher than stock.
.....it will make those 225's look like they belong on a go-kart.
