Best Magnaflow for 3.4L

I know this has been beaten to death... but I have a buddy w/ a 3.4L Ext Cab Tacoma and he wants a Magnaflow muffler.

He doesn't want it to be too loud, so I'm thinking about the 18"

Does anyone have the exact part number for the correct muffler? Their are several different ones on the MagnaFlow site.

Any help will be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that's the one I put on my 3.0. Nice, low rumble, nearly as quiet as stock. Got about 1 mpg better when I put it on.

Will the 3.4 V6 loose low end torque with an upgrade to 2.5 pipe size? I'm looking for something that will give it an overall increase in power. But nothing in particular to low end or high end since the majority of my driving is mixed City and highway. I'd like to feel more pep from off the line as well as have more passing power on the highway.

should i stay with stock 2.25? or upgrade to 2.5 piping?
Also, if i add a stainless tip at the end of my stock outlet, will it change the sound?

Id stick with the stock 2.25 it's sufficient. For NA. But with an S\C 2.5 be better.
