Just finished installing my supercharger over the weekend and was wondering if anyone has a baseline map I can input to start working on the tuning of it. I haven't had a chance to reallly romp on it yet, but one it gets tuned and the transmission gets shimmed, i'll feel safer with openning it up. So far i have the following mods and any baseline map for it would be appreciated.

Supra injectors
ik22 spark plugs
stock pulley, but will be upgrading to 2.2 pulley soon
SAFC II piggyback
AEM intake

 

what do you mean the shimming the transmission?

 

shimming the accumulators. There's a thread here, but the customtacos thread is better.

 

DO NOT touch the SAFC unless you have a wideband 02 sensor installed so you can monitor the Air/ fuel ratio. You have major risk of melting the pistons if you run it lean. I have installed and tuned plenty of Supras, etc with SAFC's and standalone ecu's. Remember altering the fuel correction will also affect the ignition timing, as the SAFC simply alters the airflow signal to the ecu, example if you remove 15% fuel at X rpms, the ecu thinks that there is 15% less load on the engine and will have more igntion timing than there should be at X rpms. With the SC, you want to have the timing retarded a few degrees under boost, and make sure to run premuim fuel. I would reccomend to take it to someone that has previous and successfull tuning experience.

yeah, i was hoping someone might have a map already i can run until my wideband gauge arrives. It wasn't until driving to work this morning that the P0171 code popped up. I know i need to get it tuned soon before i do some major damage to it.
