bad news

well i was driving to a friends house tonight and turned left onto his street not seeing a huge patch of ice. i stepped on the brakes and slid right into a 1984 mercedes benz. the mercedes is totalled and my front end doesnt look too good. i had maybe half the amount of bolts that i shoulda had in the tjm bumper so it didnt help much (some bolt holes didnt match quite up cuz my frame was a little tweaked to begin with). its going to be ruled as a no fault but the cop basically told the person that they were the smartest person in the world for parking right there on the other side of that ice. people that lived in the area said they had almost hit the same car. i guess i was the unlucky one. i'll try to put some pics up tomorrow

Well I know of a guy on the board that was talking about selling me a bunch of front parts for a 2nd gen 4runner. I think I can get a hold of them for a good price and help you out with a deal. When you feel like looking at your rig you let me and the rest of the board know what you need/want and I aswell as others will help you out. If you want the help.

Sorry to hear about the wreck...I know what it feels like. Good luck with the repairs, and you may as well want to move down South, no ice here! Go Marines!

Dang man, really sorry to hear. Does your truck still run? Hope it's not too bad. I have some front end stuff but it is all the older style from my 91' so I don't know if it will do you any good. Hopefully you will get some cash from boot camp and whatnot to fix it.

Ouch man.... sorry to hear about your misfortune. At least she's still running and you are ok. Well maybe not so much your mind, but try not too worry too much (I know... easier said than done) Just remember... any time a problem happens.... oppertunity knocks. I sunk my '93 runner 6 months after getting her. blew the engine to the moon and back.... but hey! I've an awesome new engine now!!

Stupid people parking there stupid little cars in stupid little spots.... ARRGH!!! I feel for ya!!

92-95 Marker lights are the same. 90-91 are different than those years.
