bad gas???

Engine cuts out at high rpm and dies. Just replaced plugs and plug wires about 3 weeks ago and it just started running bad. Could it be bad gas or would it cut out all the time? Any opinions. By the way it is a carborated 22r with airhog filter and 4.10 gears so its around 60 mph when it does it

Splitfire =
I am not a fan of splitfires. Put some denso or ngk's in that motor and that will help. What type of wires did you use? What about the cap and rotor? I would also definitley check the fuel filter. That is about all I can think of right now.
Oh yeah - Is the timing in check? Might want to check that too.
