ouch, hate parking lots... depending on how big the dent is, there are dent removal kits at places like wal-mart with a puller, that will adhere to the dented area and slowly pull it back. still need some body filler to make it smooth again though. if that doesnt work, might have to use a ball peen hammer and bang it back out. 3rd option is a body shop, where they tack weld on these lil metal 'sticks' and then pull the dent back smooth. the latter is a lil costly though $$$.

No offense to you but chances are if you have to ask - it's probably something that you want taken care of at a shop. Unless, of course, you're not too anal about how smooth your body panel ends up looking when you're done.

I agree with Tacoma Dude, If you have to as. Its best you have it taken care of buy a professional.

I don't think that's necessarily true. A novice can do body repair as long as he is willing to do the research and put in the sweat equity. Like any other repair I guess. My brother and I fixed a very large dent on a CRX with no prior bodywork experience.
My advice is to go to the bookstore and get a good reference book to guide you through the process. After you've pulled the dent and applied the bondo you can take it to a shop to get it painted. It will require work but it should be cheaper than having a shop do it all.

props to you, "roger" & "bike4miles", good posts the both of you & kudos for keeping up the spirit of "yotatech"!!
on the other hand, boo's! to "Tacoma Dude" & "Yota 4runner", bad posts the both of you (in my opion anyway)!!!
Tacoma007007 did'nt come here to be told, basically, that he can't do something & that he should go to someone who can. he came to this site & posted this thread, like most of us, to get advice on how to do it &/or where he should go to get, see, or find whomever he needs to to help him w/his dilemma to get it done.
i am disappointed

props to you, too, "green91runner", sorry about missing that.
probally happened because your post came before the two dissenting posts(who's names i'll not trouble to mention again), so after reading them, i became fixated (my therapist says that i'm getting better though...heh,heh,heh).
it's just that it infuriates me when you go to where you're supposed to be helped (that is, afterall, what the sign says on the door), & instead, all that you get is the type of bulls**t exhibited here w/this thread from those guys...i mean, what was THEIR purpose in coming to this site, by the way?
in closing, i don't know "green91runner", i guess that with "truth" comes it's own strength & that makes it alot easier to believe.
