Backspacing - LC rims

This question is going out to the people that have Land Cruiser rims.

What is the backspacing on these rims? Thanks.

I am planning to get LC rims for my lift or TRD rims. I want to keep a "stockish" theme.

Awesome! I believe that will still fit in the fender. Thanks for your help.

My 79 FJ40 is 3.5". FJ60/62 were 3.5"

I don't know about the newer ones.

If they the '80' wheels, they are 4.5"

Here is a pic that shows how they sit in 4runner fenderwells. For ref, the stock wheels sat inside the fenders another 3/4" or so.

Thats exactly how I want it. No tire to stick out of the tire well. I want everything to look factory.

Thanks for the pic.

I just imagined Jonathan's truck in his avatar sitting up on cinder blocks with the tires and wheels gone...

I have around $120 a corner in mine including purchase, purchase of all the materials I used to re-polish them to take care of the corrosion and the cost of clear powder coating.

Now, I have not added in the 6-8 hrs per wheel in my labor

For those interested, here is my thread with the refinishing tips.

since you have a taco w/o the fat 4Runner-Limited flares, they will stick out a touch.

and if you have 305's, they'll stick out even more.

I believe they are the same size as the LC rims.

sorry to hijack jonathon

the trd ivan s wheels are 16x8 and 4.5bs as well

want less bs? go with a pro comp 1069 or something rim and 4 inchs of b.s. Rob aka nc994run has those along with 305/70/16 tires mounted.
