Autozone Genius

I figured I would share this with you guys. Stopped at the local Autozone this morning to pick up some weird cheap tools.

I was checking out and actually heard the sales guy/battery installer tell this sap who was buying a battery "Don't ever touch the black post! The chemicals from you fingers and skin will cause the battery to burn out in about a week. I don't care what anybody says but it's true!" It was at that instant a couple of monkey's flew out of my booty (you know Wayne's world, "shyea! and monkey's might fly out of my...)

Can you believe this guy?! I guess that's why they are at A-zone and not at the indy 500!

I heard that if you touch the black post, it will cause your clutch to go out and your daughter to become pregnant.

Since I have neither, I have never really worried about it.

No. But my wife was standing right next to me and I looked at her and she gave me that look. You know the one when she's trying not to laugh and say B.S. but not use words. When we got back to the car she told me how full of carp that guy was and I was very impressed!

I also figured, it wouldn't do any good to say anything since he threw in his "everybody says I'm full of S" clause at the end of the statement. haha.

At this point I think I have completely muted out what anyone says in AutoZone not to go off topic but idiots are everywhere, I was in ShopRite buying some food and the cashier who was like a 40 yearold train reck asked a woman who had to be in her 70's if she had ID cause she was buying beer, the whole line was laughing on the inside

I felt like saying a little more because he came running in tried to ring the guy up really fast and ended up locking the register and the manager had to come over and stick the almighty key into it, pull the tape out, and do some other tricks and then start ringing people up again. :pig:

That reminds me I better make sure the blinker fluid is full, chrome muffler bearing is shining, and CV axles are not at a dangerous angle due to my body lift height. God please help these people, Force them to go back to work at the local Mickey D's.

Geez, what a coward. Get him fired. Then give him the ass-kickin' of a lifetime.

No, I don't have anger issues.

You should also check your tire pressure. Those Conferr racks have been known to cause air to leak out of them. I have also heard that if you roll your windows down more than twice a day, your spare tire will eventually deflate and fall off the rim.

Sadly we have done too much to make things idiot proof now.
Back in the day natural selection used to take care of this problem.
Now you just hope they don't take to many people with em.

Interesting thread, but I have to go now. I have to go change my washer fluid.

You guys do know that not changing your washer fluid very 3 months/3000 miles will cause your 4Runner's windshield to develop hairline cracks right?

Right?

Anyone realize that the AutoZone has become the official store of the Ricer, they have everything and anything that does not relate to performance, the last few times I went in there, their where several kids buying seat covers, new pedals, shift knobs, chrome tail pipes, no fear stickers and know their selling spoilers you should only see the display
