97 4Runner Automatic Transmission leak (rear)

97 4Runner Limited V6 2WD Automatic
204,000 miles
Just noticed transmission fluid on the ground. Dripping from rear of transmission, near drive shaft. Also near wires that plug into the transmission. The leak drips down to the crossmember of the frame and then onto the ground. Any toyota techs out there that are aware of this problem? A friend of mine that is a tech said it sounds like an O ring & requires sealant..
Any Ideas???

I had a similar leak that was coming from a dummy plug on the driver's side of the tranny. It's black, about the size of a quarter and held in with a 12mm bolt (if I remember right). I replaced the o-ring but it still leaked. Got a new plug from the dealer and it's been leak-free for almost a year.

That is the exact area where it is coming from. I will do the same.
Thanks
