Come to think of it I know of no one who has had to cut there rear out of a 3rd gen 4Runner.

It still rubs a bit and may need a bit more trimming but I am very happy with how everything works together.
I'm not sure how a 35" tire can fit into a 33" hole. (I roughly measured a 33" opening in the rear fenders)

Here is another thread on lifts. 4runner 202020 has a great picture of his 35"ers STUFFED into his rear well.

Well according to 4Runner202020 sig he's not running a BL at all. So it must be magic! Though it looks to me that that 315 fits in the hole just fine. My 295's fit too yeah.

your runner has the "center" diff lock. far different from a rear locker.

Lets go wheelin. How are your gears?

Obviously, I'm wrong. 35"ers will fit into the rear wheelwells.

Probably a pinion seal or the 3rd mem. gasket has turned to poo.

Nothing but x-tra money spent on gas and more wear on the tranny as it will struggle to get your rig rolling each time.

Heres a thought. If I were to buy another set of offroad tires and went with 35's what could be my expected numbers for mpg? I have 4.56's and get 16-17's with my 33's. I was thinking of BFG KM2's in 315.75.16

BFG KM2
34.8 X 12 for a 315
Interco SSR
33.9 X 11.4 for a 285
35.3 X 11.1 for a 35x10.5

while I like the 33's just had a yearning for 35's I have had the 285 Interco's but didn't have gears just yet.

I didn't know the limited with a rear locker was so rare. But now you know one person on yotatech with a limited with a factory rear locker.
