ARB disengage noise?

for those of you with ARB air lockers...

do you ever hear a clunking type sound when you disengage the locker? this weekend, i went wheeling and when i went to disengage the locker, it made a slight clunking sound, it wasnt anything too major, and it didnt sound like anything broke. it only made this sound the one time, and i was just curious if this happens time to time?

any help would be great!

Mine is always silent except for the air rushing out the valve. Maybe it was something else?

sometimes it's under load when you flip the switch off and depressurize. they are designed to stay locked until there's no torque, so you may have had some torque on it and right when you disengaged you moved a little, unloading the locker and then you "heard" it pop out. if I'm in my garage with the car off I can hit the switch and hear it engage then hit it again and hear it click disengage. I don't think there's anything amiss here.

I never disengage the lockers while moving and only when I am done with an obstacle and onto a mellow part of the trail. All they do at that point is PSSSSSSST!

I love my ARB's and will keep the rear when the solid axle fairy comes. I do not know how I would wheel without a selectable front locker.
