That's what I appreciate about this forum. Everyone has their own ideas for what they do and use their trucks for...it's just so school yard to talk trash about someone's ride. Nice to see open mindness here. I kinda made mine with a street look in mind as I don't off road and have a bunch of Japan catalogs. A lot of body kits and stock parts unavailable here. JasonB and Llyod have some Japan connections, but bringing in a front end is gonna be quite a bit pricey. Good luck.

they look DIFFERENT but it's just so ugly when front tires are so off camber like that while the rear still stays the same. maybe it'll help with cornering hard above 60mph which should not even be attempted in a vehicle that's so tall. if you ask me, those look like minivans on steriods. Rob is right, there's nothing wrong with personalizing your rig but IMH body kits looks much better on a passanger car.

Are you talking about the ones on performanceproducts.com? I wouldn't go around saying that too loudly as many here have that bumper add on a piece that you're calling goofy (like Jason Burtman). I think it's a cool looking piece if you ask me. Don't go stepping on toes, it's not gonna get you anywhere.

I look at that and I see just as much work as I have put in, probably more. It's cool in it's own sort of wierd way.

Would I drive it? Only to see how it did off road <EG>

i think those are cool.

im talking about these pods that attached to the bumper on both sides that housed extra fog lights.

if someone on the board has them please post a pic. Obviously i chose the word goofy lightly since im interested in them.

not trying to step on any ones toes.

okay after putting some thought into this Ive decided not to get some sort of bumper valance thing...

I want a safari bar and a few fog lights.

Ive used the search function and cant find any info on a safari bar that fits the 2000 SR5

Ive also searched a few accessory sites and nothing.

I want one that resembles and is about as costly as a westin safari bar. they make one for a tacoma but nada for the 4runner.

anyone seen a source for something similar?

has to be around the same price. or has anyone custom mounted a westin to their runner?
