Several people have purchased the Midland 79-290.
Just all depends on what you want in a CB and how much you want to spend.
One nice feature to look for is the weather channel on the CB.
Comes in handy some times

I was looking at that model. Do you have that one? Is it single DIN sized to fit in my double DIN opening with my single DIN CD player? I was reading that it has upper and lower side band - what's that? Can you tune these to work with the FRS handhelds? Sorry for all the ??
