I've heard of oil starvation from running extreme angles. The oil pick up can start sucking air. I do worry about it sometimes climbing or descending very steep trails. A no sump system or an oil accumulator would be possible solutions. An oil pressure warning buzzer would probably help out too.

Direct LPG injection is the best route. Using a mixer (carburetor) is pretty inefficient. Power wise and fuel mileage wise. What are you driving, a forklift truck?

Using this system is awesome. You have the ability to switch between LPG and Gasoline at a push of a button. The Factory ECU is used with it so none of the check engine lights come on. Lpg is much kinder to your engine. Engine oil lasts 10k miles easily.
Bring it back to stock is just as easy. Just remove system and plug everything back to its original configuration.
There is a power loss when switching to LPG. Propane has about 10% less btu value then Gasoline so it will reduce the power by that much. But LPG carries a higher octane rating ( about 100 or so) so a turbo or super charge will accommodate the loss.

also, do you happen to know if i can use all the same parts as the "carb'd" mixer, just swapping in the injectors?
the carb'd mixer set-up seems very straight-forward, just wondering if i could swap from one to the other with relative ease

yeah, i read all that. thanks. i just didn't know if you had found out. not too much on where they got it from, though. i contacted the place that singtoe linked, but have yet to hear back.

... the source is posted. $$$, though. the kits overseas are cheaper than that, even with shipping (i assume)

FWIW - You can put a mixer system on a Modern fuel injection system. There is ventori throat you install upstream of the throttle body and this is where the propane is introduced in the system. Before Propane injection came, everything was mixer based and my buddy would make (turn on a lathe) the ventori bodies and install proane mixer into any car.

. it just seems so ridiculous that they cost $1000+ here, and less than $200 over there
