Black wheels: steel or aluminum?
The wheels that I have on my truck are also available in 16x8 at Discount Tire. (www.discounttire.com) They are Unique 252's (streetlock wheel) which are a steel wheel. They are stronger than the regular black steel rockcrawler wheels since they have a reinforced outer lip on the outside of the wheel. These are the same wheel as the ones at 4 wheel parts but I only paid $55 a wheel versus $119 a wheel at 4wheelparts.com

Seafarinman:
hey those are sweet! what kind of backspacing should I be looking into? I guess I really don't have an option...
16X8 6-5.5 12B ...
Ideally speaking should I be looking at 4" backspacing to be safe?
I'll prob head down to a local discount tire and ask but I figure I'd ask ya guys here first so I don't sound stupid...

GoodTimes,
I think that the backspacing was like 3.5" on the wheels. I think that they look a lot better without the stupid (CHROME?) centercaps. I wonder if there are some black centercaps out there. Glad that you like them. I think that they are great. I ran them at 0 psi on the Tonga snow run and had no problems at all with popping beads considering these are "fake" beadlocks. They just happen to look exactly like real ones is all. Good Luck!
