Antenna mount is loose...

The rubber mount, which the antenna is screwed into is loose. I can't figure out how to tighten it back up. Anyone know how I do this? The body shop had to take it out when my fender got resprayed and it can move a good half inch back and forth.

Bottom nut that holds the whole assembly in place is "inside" the fender.

Top nut that holds the whole assembly in place is on "top" of the assembly outside the fender on top of the antenna stud. Check this one first.

Personally, I'd take it back to the yahoos that screwed it up if it is the nut inside the fender and let them fix it on their dime.

Should be some tiny holes in the top of the base, right next to the antenna shaft. I use a pair of snap ring pliers that fit into those holes to tighten that top nut down. Or wrap some tape around the jaws of a pair of pliers (to protect the finish) and use that.

I can't find the bold underneath, and how do I get to it? I open the door and can see it, but there is no way I can fit my hand plus tools in there. And I don't see the bolt on top either?

Here is the adjusting "nut" on the top of my stock antenna:

To access the mounting bolt underneath, remove the plastic wheel liner under the passenger side fender (a half dozen screws) and the antenna is right there.
