Another rear window question...

Since it's been getting pretty hot where I'm at and I park the truck outside, I've been cracking the windows, including the rear window. What I noticed today is that the rear window when cracked, is pretty loose.

I have no issues w/ it going up and down but is this normal? I was thinking that it should stay pretty firm as the regular windows do when they're down a bit.

mines a bit loose too when part way down..no problems with it either so far. it bangs around abit when i close the rear hatch with the window cracked.

im guessing this is normal since it probably needs a bit of play since it goes up at a bit of an angle...

It is normal. Our old 1990 4Runner was exactly the same way, and when my 4Runners window was working and down about maybe 3 to 6 inches, it would shake and rattle quite a bit. You shouldn't worry too much about it until it is banging around so hard that it is on the verge of cracking/breaking.
