2.1 will add a little more power, if you got enough meth injection go for it. If you add enough meth injection you won't need larger injectors but up to you if you want to do that. I was running a 14gph nozzle on pure methanol and maxing that setup out. Was gonna add a larger nozzle but pulled the SC off to go turbo before that.

Hey TA, are you getting up and going with the turbo at all? I've always loved the idea of forced induction, so I'd like to see what you come up with next. Superchargers are getting harder to find, and rebuilding them isn't cheap when you find a used one.

Nah, no progress yet, still waiting on the turbo (can't complain when it is "free"). I don't plan on working on it till at least the fall when it is cooler, 100 degree Texas heat doesn't mix too well with fabbing a turbo kit if you can help it.

Also need to find a welder since the one I had my eye one a few months ago fell through. Could be next spring before I get time, not real sure, get to it when I get to it.

For the time being the combo of headers, meth injection and high stall converter makes it just tolerable to drive NA.

What dyno did you pull the 290 whp?.. that is pretty good... Have you been to the 1/4 mile track with your truck?

I thought about having the SC ported during the last re-build but Magnison (sp?) would not do it due to contract with TRD?

My guess is the 2.1 pulley and some tuning would get you over the 300.. ha.. you are so close now.. good air may get you there too !!!

I considered having them port it but they didn't have any guesses on HP improvement past 10-20whp which was not worth the cost IMO.

I have no idea on boost or HP #s with my ported charger, but it feels like it pulls harder above 4k and the charger is quieter than any other Ive driven. Still have stock pulley and no meth...for now
