Yep, $389 including gears. I could not believe it myself.

The 5.29's are being installed in "new" diffs I picked up since I can't have any down time. I should have these in within the next couple of weeks.

would there be any speed or power benifit to throw in 5.29's over my 4.88's if im running 31's?

Your acceleration would improve, but your top speed and MPG (in this case) would suffer.

I have the same problem - I cannot have any down time.
Where did you pick up the 3rd members for you 4Runner?

any idea what kind of top speed and milage im lookin at, i would be ok with it if its still over 100 and around 14mpg

I'm seriously considering 5.29's when I go to 33's. My acceleration on the highway with 4.56 and 31's was nothing to brag about - and now with 32's I find that I decelerate on grades. I may lose some top speed but I think being able to drive a steady 60-65 with no deceleration would be nice. Anyone know how off the speedometer would be with 33's and 5.29? also with 32's? I think I may install the 5.29's and a locker before I go up the next tire size so that will be some extreme gearing!
