Another in-dash clinometer install - different though

Here's the start of my clinometer install. I am rerouting the vents to exhale through the area the cupholder occupies currently.

There's also going to be some switch reworking happening to the left of the steering wheel later. This process will take some time, so don't expect a real brisk schedule...

Still alot to do, but you get the idea...

mike,

cool!!! i'm very interested to see how you reroute the a/c vents. what kind of ducting material will you use?

many months ago, i was going to do something similar w/ my garmin streetpilot but that thing's map refresh rate was so slow that i canned that idea.

best of luck to ya and dont get high off the fiberglass resin!

bob

edit: mike, if i were you, i'd try to minimize the cutting on the inclinometer as much as possible. you want to make sure that there are no light holes or gaps b/c the light will escape and won't illuminate the clinometer as well.

This clinometer is available for sale now. I never ended up completing the custom install and have now decided that I'll be molding an iPaq with Bluetooth NAV into the dash in this area.
