Another 3rd Gen Bumper Option

I have been looking all over for a rear replacement bumper for my 3rd generation 4Runner. I didn't want to drop 1k on a bumper because my 4Runner is all beat to crap and I just couldn't see it.

I made an attempt to replace my oem bumper last year but my building skills are weak and I have never been satisfied with it. Anyway, I found a replacement "step" bumper online. It is made by a company called Reflexxion. I ordered it sight unseen as I couldn't find a pic any where. I paid $294 shipped for it from US Auto Parts.

I'll let you guys know how it turns out when I get it. I just thought I'd add to the mix since alot of us seem to be hunting bumpers all the time.

It sucked eggs. From the description of the part, I expected to get an actual step bumper. What I received was a poor replica of a factory facia and no side panels. I could have bought the same thing on Ebay for $100 bucks. I'm in the process of sending it back. Auto Parts Warehouse is the company. I wouldn't suggest dealing with them. They want 20% to restock the part and you get to try to complain to a lady in Manilla where their phone is answered.

aaaaggghhh that is rough to hear.

I have had good luck with APW in the past, just make sure it gets sent back intact.

Good luck with that.
