AMSOIL Synthetic ATF

Does anyone have a good reliable Internet source for purchasing AMSOIL Synthetic ATF transmission fluid at a good price?

I understand that Amsoil synthetic ATF exceeds the service ratings for Mercon V, ATF+4, Dexron III, etc.

I just installed (finally) my transmission temperature gauge using an Autometer billet manifold and 10mm compression fittings I got from Germany. The sensor is about 6" from the case in the outlet line so the reading should be very accurate. However, with a trans cooler the readings should not go up above 200 degrees which is just fine. I also use Lube Gard additive as recommended by John at IPT.

Manymods,

Consider joining the Amsoil preferred member program. That is your best bet. You will get it at wholesale price. If you'd like, I can sign you up or you can do it yourself via their online form. Email or PM me for details.

I'll second the prefered customer method. As I recall it's $10 for 6 months or $20 for a year. You will make up the $10 on a case of ATF.

Yeah, Bob was very helpful and I will probably go the member route. I also am considering using the motoroil in one of my cars, replacing the Mobil-1 I have always used but I am still not sure about that.

BTW, you indicated that you have closed off your deckplate opening --- Why? Your truck is SC'd, but I assume you have done no other fuel or ECU mods, right?

ManyMods, yes, I capped the deckplate until I get the URD kit. Getting back to the Amsoil, I believe the one year preferred customer breaks even at about $100.00 of purchases. With four vehicles, I get there easy!
