I am curious if anyone knows what year heads will interchange with my 94 3.0?Will 87 - 95 be the same or not .Thanks for any help. Mark

I'm about 97% sure that they'll be the same.

 

Wouldn't it be great if the 3.4 heads could be used. Twice the valves should really help the 3.0 with power. I wonder if they would physically fit?

 

Hmm... I remember reading somewhere that the 3.0 and 3.4 used the same block...

I know there's gotta be differences simply because of the 3.0's head gasket design problems, and the fact that the 3.4 doesn't have those problems.

 

First year of 3.4 did too. The recall program covered those too.
