Is an alignment necisary right after a lift install?

I am buying some new (new to me) lift components for the front. The seller and i are going to install them this weekend, but I don't have my rear's ready to install and they won't be done for probably another month. Is it ok to drive a month on an unaligned new front suspension. FWIW I am going to Tundra coils, OME struts, and two bamachem spacers from SAW's. The height should be similar. Thanks guys.

PS ignore the typing error in the message title.

Alignment right after the front lift is a must.

Where your rear end is already lifted, you should be ok for that short amount of time. But if it is driving weird I wouldnt wait and take it in to get it aligned.

i did the install on a friday night and drove it for the weekend, and had it aligned on monday, with out any problems, the front end just had a small amount of positive camber. do you already have the rear lifted? i dont think i could drive around for a month sitting like a lowrider

I put revtek spacers and new struts into my '98 tacoma drove it for 6 months without an alignment, no odd tire wear, no pulling, I was perfectly happy with it. Then I pulled the lift out and am back to stock, has been 6 months or so without an alignment although it does pull a little bit. So it is absolutely necessary? Probably not, but it is a good idea.

If you want to maximize your front tires' life and don't want to feel vibrations on the highway you should get an alignment.

No alignment means a more rough ride at higher speeds and faster wear on the tires, especially if you're off camber.

just go somewhere that has the "lifetime" alignment, have it aligned, then next time you go wheeling or lift it just take it back there and get it aligned for free

mine felt like driving on ice, hmmm, dont know if you know the feeling, but it felt like the front end would pull to one side or the other, as if it was sliding sideways, but it never was the same pull, just very hard to drive... maybe more as if something very important up front was broken...
