hey guys...so i installed the Aisins this evening with no problems....but


when i went out for a drive i noticed a small shimy vibration when im
coasting...

I installed new gaskets....

checked to see if the hubs were free or locked..and they were free...

ANy ideas....

Did you see if they were actually free spinning or just in the free position? HAve someone drive the truck by you whole watching the front axle shafts to see if they are spinning. Or jack up a tire and give it a spin and watch the shafts. If they spin, the hub is not unlocking. The locking part may have been put on incorrectly or if you used too much grease while assembling them, the grease can make a suction that holds the locking parts in place.

so what would make the soft whomp whomp while coasting not while driving...just too much engine noise to notice?
