Aisin Hubs

Hi All!
I'm currently looking for a pair of Aisin hubs...just wondering what a reasonable price would be for a pair, and if anyone on the forum knows of anyone selling a pair.
Thanks,
bp

www.yotayard.com sells them for $50. Get the gaskets at the dealer for around $8 if I remember right.

Yotayard.com

Try e-mail to Yotayard.com or get the on line page and the phone number and call them. I paid $25ea plus shipping total $72.
Make sure you tell mthem what year you have then ask them again if the have the right ones. Two of us have had incorrect covers.
When you get them make sure they work right. The clean and paint as you see fit.
Good Luck

Thanks Folks!
I'll give 'em a call.
Probably beats getting my bids cranked up on EBay!
FYI...best price I can find in Ontario, Canada is $90 each.
Sure, that's about $60 US, but it's STILL $90 Canadian

aisin hubs

blair i got a pair of aisin hubs i'll sell for the 86 and newer ifs. i'll sell them for $50 + shipping. have to lower price to compete i guess lol. the shiiping price donc said about from yotayard seems kindof high. the most it costs me to ship a set in the continental us was only $13. i sold a set to Victor, david in germany, and Delboy all members of the forum. i haven't heard off them having any problems with the hubs i sold them. delboy lives in ireland and it only cost $35 to ship them to him.

Blair,
Living near Denver, I actually ran down to the Yota Yard on Saturday to pick up a pair of hubs for my 92 runner. $25 a piece for the complete hub assembly.

Jim and the guys at the Yota Yard are very helpful and always have reasonable prices. I highly recommend them. They've saved me from having to buy dealer parts many times while I was learning (breaking!)

Good Luck

Thanks for the info E. I've got an email into them. If toyotapartsguy can't do the deal will you nip over and grab them for me and send 'em up??? (only half-kidding here). Gladly cover your costs...

FYI...the aisin hubs I've been bidding on at EBay just went for $68.80...hope I wasn't upbidding anyone in our group...

Note to all readers: One of the things that really impresses me about this group is the extent that others go to help each other out. Kinda like an extension of what I assume our personalities are on the trails.

And another thing...while I'm waxing...for a group with so many members I don't see people pissing on other's wheels or opinions, unlike some other groups I lurk on (Many other topics, not just wheels).

I think you've hit it on the head. There are a lot of great people here and that is what sets this place apart. The other places are good too but the flaming can get old, especially when a newb needs an answer to a question.

I got a set from ebay for $44 about a month ago. They were in good shape when I got them. I've already rebuilt them and am just waiting to put them in. Just to damn lazy.

Blair,

I got a pair of aisin hubs from toyota parts dude a couple of weeks ago. Cleaned and painted them the day I got them and had them on the runner the next day. They look brand new. One tip for getting the cone washers off - I loosened the nuts - hit the studs with a brass drift then screwed in 2 12mm bolts and the old hubs slid right off. You don't need to take the wheel off. You'll like the feel of this simple mod.

Thanks for the tip, Bridger!
There seems to be quite a few tech articles about the changeover, and they all mention the cone washers, and different tricks to get 'em off.
Your's sound the easiest.
Looking forward to the mod!

do you have the auto hubs now?
if so when you put them on I used the allen screws from the auto hubs on the aisin hubs and they don't stick out and you don't need to get a thin enough socket to work on them anymore just an allen wrench. If anyone is intersted let me know and i will post a pic.
