Adjusting Steering wheel straightness

I bolted in a new steering box(well used but new to my car) last night and there was no marks to guide me in attaching the steering colum to the box in reguards to having the wheel be straight and the tires be straight. I'm only off by a few splines but in order to readjust the position of the steering colum in relation to the end of the shaft of the steering box i had to unbolt the steering box and slide it out of the coupling with the steering colum. There HAS to be a way to adjust this w/o unbolting the steering box, does anyone know how to do this? It is a 91 pickup w/ power steering. If you need to clarify i can try and and do that too. Thanks.

Ditto - no key on the column shaft to prevent minor adjustments this way. Piece of cake!!
