Adjustable panhard
Thought I would share.
If I did not own a welder, I would of saved the weekend and called Steve at Sonoran steel and ordered his, but I have to do things the hard way.
This is what I built last sunday.
Parts:
1" of 1.75od .120 wall DOM for a bushing sleeve
1 leaf spring bushing, poly, from an 80s jeep.
1 9/16" bolt (3")
1 7/8" threaded stud from ballistic fab
1 7/8" tube adaptor (ruff stuff or ballistic fab)
2.5 feet of 1.5od .120 wall DOM to sleeve a section of the factory bushing.
I had to cut the leaf spring bushing down to size to fit the super small width of the factory brackets on the axle. Then I had to drill out the existing 12mm bolt to 9/16" to accept the new bolt.


Pre-assembled

The fun part was taking the chop saw to the stock panhard bar, that was the point of no return. :jester:

Sleeve fits like a glove.

Installed.

I've only put 10 miles on it, but it seems better already. Less play from the new bushing probably helps a ton. As far has centering the axle, I could still push it over 1/2" or so to make it perfect but for now its a lot closer to factory than it was.
