Uh oh, I think the disease is contagious, I just bought a 2001 4runner, that matches my dad's 2001 PreRunner and is a compliment to my brother's 89 pickup

why would you even possibly need four of them why not keep the 5speed with tthe elocker and get rid of the rest and then buy a taco so you got both and why bother turboing a suv wagon really dont mean to bash but these arent the best starting point for something fast

well, started out i bought my dad's 99, then gave that to my father in law who is building a house in cabo, then my mother in law needed a car there too, so i bought her one and fixed it up, and then i'm starting to build a house in cabo as well and my wife and i go frequently so i took one down there for us, now i have my 2000 here at home which im starting a turbo project. You could say im obsessed with the 3.4. But after all the cars ive had, i dont think people really know how well designed and bulletproff the 96-02 4Runners and 96-04 tacomas really are. They're amazingly overbuilt vehicles.

I see your what your saying, but you've never been inside a properly turboed 3.4. Once you sit inside one and unleash the power they can throw down, you'll understand quick.
