Hoping to get some advice from the experts on the board.

When i have my AC on. every now and then the compressor kicks in (as expected). when it does kick in, the compressor noise (outside the car) is very loud - kinda sounds like 1/2 the volume of a lawn/yard blower - it'll stay on for about 30 - 1 min then turn off, wait about 1 min and the compressor kicks on again.

I'm a little concerned that the compressor is so noisy. It is noiser than other similar models. There is no clacking sound so i'm assuming its not the clutch.

Any input/expereinces with this would be appreciated.

is the compressor toast? or the clutch for it toast? pull the belt off and try spinning it by hand
