99 springs

I am looking at fixing the sag with 99 rear springs, I have noticed on all the websites they are listed with 16" wheels, that makes no difference to me even though I have 15"s right?

The other option is OME 906's.

I know I am opening a can of worms, but what shocks seem to work best with the 99 springs? They are so many posts and so many different answers.

What is your primary use for your truck? Are you interested in an inch or tow of lift? Off road?

Tokicos are the OEM replacement shock if you just want to retain the stock ride.

X- I'm looking for 1-2" lift, light offroad use, I figure if I am spending the money to fix the rear, a little more to lift is no big deal.

How much do you have to spend? For me, if I wanted a 1-2" lift, I'd go OME for both springs and shocks.

It is a 98 2wd. I figure I would spend atleast $300 for replacing stock to fix the sag, so another $100-200 I can get past the budget committee. I would say cheaper is better, but I know that isn't true and plan to drive the 4runner for many more years. My last ride was a 91 LC with 320k miles.

You're looking at at least $620 if you go with the 99 coils and tokicos all around.

I was thinking 99 rear coils and shocks, and spacer in the front, but from what I have been reading the spacer may/will give a harsh ride. Seems like I saw one set of Bilstein that suggested using the front factory springs with them and was adjustable height?

In looking at the Tokico shocks and struts, why is there different part numbers for the 2wd and 4wd struts?
