Question 99 LTD supension would fit 98 SR5?

i want to know if it would be possible to take a supension (sprigns and shocks) from a 99 limited to put on my 98 Sr5...

cause my freind has a smashed 99 LTD , and his seems higher than mine!....i want to be higher.

Hi there, yes it should swap out fine. The only reason why his would be higher than yours, is if he had a 4x4 and you had a 4x2...otherwise, they are the same!

Welcome to the board!

The bump stops might be different, but the coils and shocks should be a direct fit.

do you only have the 15" wheels? if so, the springs that came with those models arent as stiff as the LTD ones.

Rony,

Does this mean your friend is parting out the Limited? If so, this is the perfect place to part it out!

Look at your rear springs... Do you have rubber cone springs INSIDE your metal springs like this?
